Urgent Appeal to Help Victims of Typhoon Odette
Super Typhoon Odette (Rai), a category 5 storm and the 15th typhoon to hit the Philippines this year, wreaked havoc across the Visayas and Mindanao from December 14-17th 2021. The storm affected 30% of the islands, with more than 400 deaths recorded so far, destruction, displacement and fatalities are increasing.
The Philippines American Association of North Carolina (PAANC) is conducting a relief campaign to help the victims of Typhoon Odette.
Our goal is to raise $5,000 by January 31, 2022.
We are a 501c-3 non-profit; contributions are tax deductible.
Relief funds will be sent directly to Caritas, the humanitarian, development and advocacy arm of the Catholic Bishops Conference of The Philippines.
