Munting Eskwela
(Little School) is a pilot project whose purpose is to offer quality structured programming in Filipino cultural arts. The program provides education in three areas of discipline to help incorporate Filipino heritage into our own Philippine-American homes and to share our rich culture with our neighboring communities. Classes include Language (Tagalog); Philippine Music, and Folk Dancing. Our qualified and experienced staff of
instructors are ready to share their knowledge of the Filipino arts with you.

OBJECTIVES:

  • To promote and preserve the diverse culture and heritage of the Filipino-American community through multidisciplinary arts programming.

  • To provide educational and performance opportunities to enhance an appreciation and awareness of the Filipino culture.

  • To foster relationships among the Filipino and American community.
  • To create a permanent program that raises the level of artistic programming and presentation.
